    When the NCHA and Lucky Forward Films went looking for someone to help them promote their documentary film, they turned to Solid Static. As a trusted partner Solid Static was given full creative license to condense the 84 min documentary film, "This Is War" into a 4 minute extended trailer. Solid Static was responsible for the entire production of the trailer, from editing, sequencing and 3D to writing much of the soundtrack.

    Solid Static is honored to take part in this project as many of the proceeds from the documentary will go to helping worthy causes such as the Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund, the National Combat History Archive and the Iraq/Afghanistan Oregon Memorial Fund.

    Lucky Forward Films an independent film label based in Portland, Oregon released this documentary film in July of 2007. The film follows the lives and experiences of a troop of soldiers and their one year tour in Iraq.
