P-38 Lightning
The Brief
This was a personal challenge I set for myself to learn about texturing more complex objects. The Lockheed P-38 Lightning has always been one of my favorite planes and was the perfect candidate. I even had the fortunate chance to study one upclose at the local air museum. I learned more than just texturing while working on this one; mapping, lighting and modeling of an object with so many changing surfaces.
