A leading, multi-national security company’s enterprise-level reporting software experience and design was dated, difficult to work with, and had a training period of around a week.
Working over several months with both internal and client UX and development teams, I assisted with information architecture in addition to design discovery and creation. Following client feedback, current design trends, and established direction I translated the final wireframes into a workable and pleasing design package of assets, style-guide, and pixel specs.
One significant challenge arose during this project. Initially the client chose an overall dark UI direction which was fully refined over many iterations. However, late-stage upper management feedback resulted in a lighter UI choice.
The client was very pleased with the updated, purposed, concise design, and overall experience. All of which will ultimately lead to reduced training cost, a more visually appealing experience, and reduced time investment for the customer.
